​Sprite is giving 25 school $25,000 grants to refresh their outdoor active spaces and LWC Middle School could be a lucky winner!

Here's how it works:

1.  Members of the community earn points by entering codes from their favorite Coca-Cola products.

As classes begin instruction and homework, please remember that we do offer Extra Learning Time (ELT) after school for students who do not have their work finished.  We do understand that arrangements may be difficult for students to remain after school if they ride the bus/live in rural areas.  Another option is to come early to school to complete the work.  Students should be making a phone call to parents if an assignment is not complete.  This is a great opportunity to create structure immediately after school to complete work (3:20-4:00).  We appreciate your support regarding your child’s learning.

Welcome to the middle school years!  LWC Middle School serves the communities of Lennox, Worthing and Chancellor grades 6-8.  Located on 5th Street, the building is a great facility with updated classrooms and technology tools.  The LWC staff provide students with a well-rounded core curriculum preparing them for high school academics.  We offer programs for students who need extra assistance and those who excel on a regular basis.  Staff also take the time to teach Character Counts curriculum to all our students.  School sponsored athletics begin in 7th grade, while Music, Art, and Band are required for grades 6-8.  Middle school students do participate in Homecoming Week activities by leading a food drive for our local food bank, The Exchange.  Parent/Teacher Conferences are during 1st and 3rd quarter grading periods.  Conferences are led by the students.  Please call 647-2203 if you have questions that need to be answered.
