
Spring Concert at Lennox JH-HS. Lots of talented musicians and great performances!







While in computer class with Mrs. Ruffin, third graders researched a problem of their choosing and created proposals for how they think it should be solved. They presented their proposals to their peers.




Students at Worthing Elementary had a great week celebrating Read Across America! Students participated in special dress-up days, read Dr. Seuss books, played reading bingo at home, and had a special guest read to them, Deputy Sheriff, Anthony Zongo!





Mrs. Smit's second graders learned about the history of the game Candy Land, then groups of students worked collaboratively to create a board game of their own. Students had a great time creating and playing the games.






For Read Across America week, 6th grade students read to JK and K students.




Our 5th grade students were able to read to 1st and 2nd grade students for Read Across America week!





Last Monday, we heard our Junior High Choir, High School Choir, and a few solos and ensembles. The concert was great!







Great job at the Brandon Honor Band this week! Congrats to Blair, Keegan, Olivia, Maddie, Bode, and Landon.



8th grade girls attended "Women in Science" at SE Technical College.





Great job this weekend at State Debate! The team was 4th in team sweepstakes. Gavin S. placed 5th in Informative Speaking, McKenzie R. is a state semi-finalist in Lincoln-Douglas. Gunnar G. is the state runner-up in Lincoln-Douglas and the state champion in International extemp.




Middle school all-state band was held in Mitchell this weekend. SDMEA recognized the three schools that have had students in middle school all-state band for all 25 years, and Lennox was one of those schools!

Worthing students are participating in the Kids Heart Challenge through the American Heart Association to learn about taking care of our bodies and minds. During the assembly, students and staff jumped rope and checked their heart rate. 4th graders practiced hands only CPR.






Sandy Richter visited junior kindergarten to talk about animals in their natural habitat during winter months.









These Lennox students put on a great performance this weekend with the SDSU Honor and Festival Bands.



2024 SD State Wrestling Tournament has come to an end. We are all proud of the team effort and accomplishments.

This past week our boys' basketball team earned a 66-46 win over Vermillion and a 78-42 victory over Beresford before falling to Dell Rapids this past Friday, Feb. 16, 74-63. The team is playing against Dakota Valley tonight as the final regular season game. Go O's!


Gunnar Geiken has qualified for the 2024 National Speech and Debate Tournament. Gunnar is a four-time qualifier! The National Tournament will be held June 16-24 in Des Moines. At the National Tournament, Geiken will be recognized with other students that are four-year qualifiers at the National Tournament.
