Lennox Elementary celebrated kindergarten graduation on Friday, May 5. Congratulations to the class of 2035!





Yvette Christion, the mother of Benaiah Christion and school board member, visited with Lennox Elementary fourth graders to discuss the importance of saving money and personal finances. The students had fun while learning something new.




Lennox Elementary hosted a “Family Game Night” where families were invited to come to the school and explore the educational benefits of playing games. Thank you to all who attended and to our PACE group for purchasing supplies.

Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade took their life skills math class on a field trip to Avera. They were able to meet a pilot and explore a helicopter.


Mrs. Lang has been teaching students at the Intermediate on how to play the ukulele. They sound fantastic!


The 6th graders are designing their own mini golf course in Mr. Hale's class.


Lennox High School National Honor Society students spent an afternoon at Tieszen Memorial Home playing Bingo with the residents.





Ten of our 5th grade students competed in a Math Quiz Bowl at Sioux Falls Christian.



The Lennox 3rd and 4th graders performed their spring concert under the direction of Miss Brekke. The students sang, played instruments, and danced. The students did a great job.








The Lennox 6th grade toured DeGeest Steel Works. It was a great way to celebrate National Robotics Week (RoboWeek) as DeGeest has become a leading manufacturer in robotics.

Our JH/HS jazz bands had fun at SDSU Jazz Fest. HS jazz placed 3rd in Class A and JH jazz placed 1st in the middle school division. Congratulations to Jesse Cech and Sam Bambas for receiving Outstanding Soloist Awards!




The kindergarten and junior kindergarten classes went on a field trip to the Washington Pavilion. They attended a play of "The Gruffalo." This is a favorite picture book in their classrooms, and they were so excited to see it come alive in a different way.








The Worthing students walked through the Worthing Art Gallery, enjoying all of their amazing art they created last week during their 2nd Annual Art Day.





Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade's life skills math class had an Easter egg hunt for Mrs. Hinker's junior kindergarten class. The life skills students filled the eggs with treats and also numbered the eggs, making it a fun math activity to find the correct numbered egg.










The Worthing elementary students had their 2nd Annual Art Day this week. Students from the high school and the high school art teacher, Mrs. Maras, led the elementary students through a canvas painting project.
