Students in Mrs. Irish's LA class have been studying poetry. Mr. Youngquist helped teach rhythm when discussing patterns and stressed and unstressed words.

The Lennox speech and debate team hosted their first invitational tournament this past Saturday. 93 students from 13 schools competed at the event. The next competition for the team will be in Brookings December 15-16.
The Lennox Chamber Choir had a couple of great performances at local assisted livings and nursing homes.
4th grade students in Lennox and Worthing were able to learn about computer parts by taking apart desktop computers.

Early Childhood students enjoyed sensory play in hot cocoa in preparation for Christmas.
Gold Jersey:
Each week we will use a word/phrase as a standard of Lennox Basketball. Whoever best represents that standard, will be acknowledged with a gold practice jersey.
This week’s standard was “Positivity.” Congrats to Boston Katzer for winning the first ever Gold Jersey.

Congrats to Kathryn and Tyler for earning spots on the All-State Parliamentary Procedure team.
Junior kindergarten had a visit from Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade's high school life skills math class. The high schoolers came and played gingerbread character/story bingo and then played gingerbread single- and double-digit number bingo with our class.
First grade worked on problem solving and working as a team to create mazes and navigate their programmable mouse through it.
Worthing PTT hosted a party at Skate City in Sioux Falls. The students and their families had a great time!
Miss Neeman's 4th grade class helped Mrs. Strasser's kindergarten class with a countdown to Christmas art project.
8th grade students have been preparing for the JA Inspire Career Fair for the past few weeks. They were able to attend the Junior Achievement Inspire event at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Lennox Intermediate School students donated thousands of items for the local food pantry. Student council members collected the donated items and delivered them to The Exchange in Lennox. Thank you to everyone that donated items!
These students did a great job at Region 1 Honor Band. Thanks for representing Lennox well!
