Good afternoon Lennox JH-HS Students, Parents and Guardians:
No School October 6th and 9th.
SENIORS – The Senior Class group picture will be on Friday, October 13 at 10am in the gym. Order forms are in the office.
First Quarter and Mid-term Grades - The end of 1st quarter and mid term are quickly approaching. Students and Parents should pay attention to missing work as those will turn to a Zero at midterm/quarter.
FFA Zoo Boo and Spooky Trail – See posters on pages 4 and 5.
Dress Code - Students must come to school dressed in clean, neat, and appropriate clothing to conform to educational standards. Below are few specific areas addressed by our Student handbook that need attention:
1. Clothing displaying indecent, suggestive or profane writing, pictures or slogans
2. Clothing that advertises or displays alcohol, tobacco or any illegal substance
3. Revealing clothing such as short-shorts, biker shorts, or cutoffs, unbuttoned or
unzipped items, excessively torn or ripped clothing, bare midriff styles, low cut blouses
clothing that reveals undergarments
ACT Prep – Session 1 will be on October 12, from 6-8:30.
After School Study Sessions – Our after-school study sessions have begun. They are from 3:30-4:30 pm on most Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday of each week.
SD Army National Guard - Sargeant First Class Steven Davis will be joining LHS Government, Civics, Sociology, and World History classes on Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 12th for a special presentation on the SD Army National Guard.
Junior Parents: Mrs. Thill is looking for a few parent volunteers to help with PROM fundraising. If you are interested, please email tresa.thill@k12.sd.us.

Daily Attendance

PSAT for Juniors October 11th. Deadline to sign up is October 4th. PSAT is a great way to practice testing for ACT/SAT and can qualify your student for the National Merit Scholarship program. Contact Mr. Breske for sign up/more information.
