Good afternoon Lennox JH-HS Students, Parents and Guardians:
The 2024-25 School year is only a few days away. We hope you have enjoyed your summer break!

Open House
Our open house is scheduled for Monday, August 19, from 5-7 pm. Students will receive their class schedules, lockers (grades 7-9) and you will have the chance to meet your teachers. Students in grades 10-12 will be able to sign up for a locker if they want to have one. Grades 10 and 11 sign up with your SRB teacher, Grade 12 sign up in the office.

Dual Credit
All Dual Credit classes begin on Monday, August 26. There will be a meeting for all students enrolled in Dual Credit classes on Thursday, August 22 at 10am.
Schedule Changes for HS Students
All schedule changes for first semester must be completed by August 23. See Mr. Breske or Mr. Allison to make changes.
Picture Retake Day
If you missed our District Registration Day last week or want a picture retaken, Scherling Photography will be back on the morning of September 19th to do picture retakes.
Daily Attendance
Please be sure to call the JH-HS office if your student will be late, needs to leave early or will be gone for the entire day due to illness, appointments, etc. Darci Granum – Attendance Secretary – 647-2203 (ext. 5001). Darci.granum@k12.sd.us

Parents wanting access to the Parent Portal/Campus to check grades should contact Dawn.Timmerman@k12.sd.us for their username/password.
Student Cell Phone Use During the School Day
Students may use personal phones during lunch, between classes, and before or after school. Cell phones may not be used during class, SRB, or study halls. Phones will be confiscated for the class period or remainder of school day if in violation.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast is served daily from 7:45-8:10. Free/Reduced lunch applications are available on the school website.
Wednesday – 8-21-24 – 1st Day of School Information
High School SRB and Junior High room assignments will be posted in the lobby. Students will be able to get their schedules from those teachers (just as on Open House Night).
All students should remain in the lobby and cafeteria areas of the building until 8am each morning, unless they are meeting with a teacher or a coach.
8:15 – All Seniors report to the Cafeteria

Laptops will be handed out after the meeting
8:15 – All 9th-11th grade students will report to SRB
Welcome Back presentations by the SRB teachers

We will follow the Orange/Black schedule (30-minute classes)
Laptops will be handed out by Friday
