Fall Play Auditions
Auditions for the Fall Show, Antiques, will be September 9 from 7-9pm in the cafetorium for 9th-12th graders. Audition forms and more information can be found on the drama bulletin board in the High School Hallway. If you have questions or can't make auditions on the scheduled date, please contact Christi Sayler at Christi.Sayler@k12.sd.us prior to auditions.
Interim Assessments
JH and HS student will begin taking their interim Assessments in English and Math over the next few weeks. These ungraded assessments (done twice each year) provide valuable insight on student progress toward meeting goals and standards. Teachers can then use the results to customize instruction for students who may need additional help or can work on more advanced topics.

Students may use personal phones during lunch, between classes, and before or after school. Cell phones may not be used during class, SRB, or study halls. Phones will be confiscated for the class period or remainder of school day if in violation.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is technology that helps machines do tasks that usually need human thinking, like learning and solving problems. In schools, AI can tailor lessons to fit each student’s needs. It also handles routine tasks so teachers can spend more time teaching. While AI offers many advantages, it’s important for kids to still practice thinking and learning on their own. By understanding AI’s role, parents can better guide their children in using technology wisely. You may view the school policy on the link below
