Interim Assessments

JH and HS student will begin taking their interim Assessments in English and Math over the next few weeks.  These ungraded assessments (done twice each year) provide valuable insight on student progress toward meeting goals and standards.  Teachers can then use the results to customize instruction for students who may need additional help or can work on more advanced topics.

Student Cell Phone Use During the School Day

Students may use personal phones during lunch, between classes, and before or after school.  Cell phones may not be used during class, SRB, or study halls.  Phones will be confiscated for the class period or remainder of school day if in violation

From the Counselor:

Seniors and Senior Parents! College application and scholarship season is right around the corner. Now is a great time to visit college campuses and narrow down the list of potential tech schools/universities. The free application period for South Dakota schools begins October 1st and runs through November 30th.

I highly recommend beginning to look at scholarships through any business you utilize as a customer as well as my curated list here: https://tinyurl.com/2s3hj3hu
