We had a great day on Saturday. Coach Meyer, Coach Sattler, and I were very impressed with the team's focus on warm-ups and being ready to lift when our names were called. With 5 platforms and over 260 competitors, our team showed remarkable focus and team comradery. After the meet we had many lifters doing their part in cleaning up the warm-up weight room and our team camp showing the pride these Orioles have in doing things the right way. As a team we had 17 top 3 placers with Lily Meyer winning all class top girls' lifter at the meet. The team had dozens of personal records broken as well. We look forward now to the State Powerlifting meet in Baltic on Saturday, March 1st for the high school team. We want to say thank you to Matt Mower and Eric Page for helping coach platforms at the meet. We also want to extend a HUGE thank you to Stephanie Wildeboer and all the parents who helped with feeding the boys and girls at the meet, taking photos during the meet, and for all the support they have shown us this year.
