Daily Attendance
Please be sure to call the JH-HS office if your student will be late, needs to leave early or will be gone for the entire day due to illness, appointments, etc. Darci Granum – Attendance Secretary – 647-2203 (ext. 5001)
NCRC Test for Seniors
All Seniors will take the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC Test) on the morning of November 2. The NCRC is a Career Readiness Test that is similar to the ACT’s College Readiness Test. Seniors earning a certificate will also earn the day off from school on Dec. 21. National Career Readiness Certificate | ACT
Free, online tutoring available for K-12 students. South Dakota students and families can access a new, online tutoring program, staffed by college students who are preparing to become teachers. The Dakota Dreams Online Tutoring Program offers FREE online tutoring to K-12 students across the state. One-on-one tutoring sessions can help students with their homework, tackle specific trouble areas, and address broader educational concepts. Please note: In order to access the service, parents or guardians must register their students, not the school.
SENIORS – Scherling Photography will be here on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 10:30am to take the Senior Class Group Picture in the Gym. Order forms will be available on the day of pictures. Please have orders turned in by Friday, Nov. 11.
JH 1st Quarter Report Cards were sent home with JH students on Friday (today). HS Mid-term Grades will be sent in the mail if a student received a D or an F in a class.

Senior Graduation and Sophomore Class Ring
Sophomore Class Rings and Senior Graduation orders can be placed on the Jostens website: Lennox High School | Jostens
8th Grade – JA Inspire Event – November 15 – Sioux Falls Convention Center - 12-3pm
JA Inspire | Junior Achievement of South Dakota
All 8th graders will be attending the JA Inspire event in Sioux Falls in a few weeks. They will be exploring careers in the weeks leading up to this field trip. JA Inspire is a collaboration between educators and industry leaders led by Junior Achievement of South Dakota. JA Inspire is a career-based event filled with learning experiences that are designed by individual industry teams to align with what the industry will need from its future employees.
ACT Prep Classes
Session 3 will be on October 30 from 1-5pm. Bring laptops, calculator, and pencils.

SD College Access Campaign (October 3rd – November 30th)
Senior Students’ application fees are waived during this period to any South Dakota College or Tech School.
School Counselor Update:

- Dual Credit registration begins November 1st. (See counselor website for more information)
- Last day to withdraw from a course and not receive a grade for dual credit is November 4th. Contact Mr. Breske if you need assistance with your course.
