Congratulations to Dani Highum, future UMary Marauder. She will be playing DII volleyball in Bismarck starting next fall. Dani signed with the support of her family, friends and teammates. The Marauders are getting a fantastic student athlete!
The LHS Concert Choir traveled to Vermillion to participate in the Region 1 Large Group Contest. Choirs at this event are evaluated and scored by a panel of three judges.

Sarah VanLaeken, a life coach, presented a message to our 3rd and 4th grade students. Topics included self-compassion, self-worth, visualization, intuition, and self-confidence.

Congratulations Jocelyn Thoms! She competed this weekend for Team South Dakota at the Heartland Duals. Jocelyn went 5-2 on the weekend helping her team secure 6th place.
Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade's high school life skills math class came and had an Easter egg hunt for the junior kindergarten class. The high schoolers numbered the eggs, so the class could hunt for a certain number on their egg.
Students in 6th grade learned about transportation safety, CPR, hydration, and eating healthy. Thank you to our visitors for presenting!
Great job to our Winter Color Guard at Bellevue! We got 4th out of 8, with a score of 68.78. That’s 3.23 points better than last year. We even outscored some groups in the higher class!
Members of the Junior High Choir at Lennox have been busy the last couple of weeks participating in festivals at both Brandon Valley and the Region 1 MS Choir Festival at Dakota Valley. Congratulations to all of the students involved!

Mrs. Shade and Mr. Hinker's high school math class played St. Patrick's Day bingo and helped Mrs. Hinker's JrK class with math centers. They also brought delicious green Rice Krispie treats!
As part of “Music in our Schools Month,” high school music students visited the 4th graders this morning. Students were invited to learn more about each instrument and had fun trying them out!

While in computer class with Mrs. Ruffin, third graders researched a problem of their choosing and created proposals for how they think it should be solved. They presented their proposals to their peers.
Students at Worthing Elementary had a great week celebrating Read Across America! Students participated in special dress-up days, read Dr. Seuss books, played reading bingo at home, and had a special guest read to them, Deputy Sheriff, Anthony Zongo!
Mrs. Smit's second graders learned about the history of the game Candy Land, then groups of students worked collaboratively to create a board game of their own. Students had a great time creating and playing the games.
For Read Across America week, 6th grade students read to JK and K students.
