
4th grade came and took a tour of LWC Intermediate today. Thank you to our 5th grade student council representatives for leading tours.





We were fortunate to have Brock Rops come to the Intermediate and talk to 6th grade students about failing forward. Great message!


Students in 5th grade math created zoos by using area and perimeter. They then took their information and used Minecraft to upload their zoo.



Congratulations to Mrs. Irish's 5th grade for claiming this year's March Madness Championship!


Intermediate students and Mrs. Lang put on an awesome spring concert on Monday!




Friday night's family event was a hit! Thanks to everyone who attended.




Students in 6th grade learned about transportation safety, CPR, hydration, and eating healthy. Thank you to our 4 visitors for presenting!





Students in Mr. Hale's math classes are creating game boards as a review over skill taught this year.



Our 5th grade students were able to read to 1st and 2nd grade students for Read Across America week!





For Read Across America week, 6th grade students read to JK and K students.




Thank you to all the businesses that came to LWC Intermediate's first Career Day! We hope to make this an annual event.





Congratulations to Mrs. Ruffin for being nominated as our MVP Staff of the Week. She was nominated for the research projects completed with 5th and 6th grade.


Congratulations to our last two MVP Staff of the Week winners! Mr. DeWitt and Mrs. Halouska, thank you for all you do for your students!



Students in 5th and 6th grade had a guest speaker from the Sanford Underground Research Facility. Students learned about what the facility in Lead did and participated in some hands-on learning.




Students in Mrs. Adney's World History class learned about various democracies and used gummy bears to represent those involved in the process.

Pie in the face was a blast for kids whose names were drawn for donating to our toy drive. Current and former teachers were great sports!





Another calendar year is coming to a close, and we crown a new dodgeball champ. Congratulations to Miss Compton's class for winning the 5th grade division, and Mrs. Havrevold's class for winning the overall championship. However, the teachers retained the king of the court!



Students in 6th grade created Christmas Around the World projects and presented them to parents and 5th grade students.





Intermediate Student Council representatives helped gather toys for our annual toy drive for Sanford Children's Hospital. Around 100 items were collected. Thank you to everyone that donated!
