Congratulations to our MVP Staff of the Week!


Recently, our Intermediate students held a food drive for The Exchange. Over 1,500 items were donated! Mrs. Havrevold's class won a popcorn party by donating the most items.


LWC Intermediate students held their annual food drive and did a great job! All good will be donated to The Exchange.





5th grade was honored to have Clint Blaha talk to students about military life to celebrate Veteran’s Day.

We have our winners for first quarter! Congratulations and good work to these students who had good attitude and effort throughout the quarter.


Congratulations to Mrs. Mikkelsen for being nominated as our Staff of the Week. She was nominated for being a team player and sharing how to use the writing strategy RACE with others.


Students in Mr. Crosby’s class used their knowledge of longitude and latitude and located areas on the playground during Social Studies.


For a 2nd year, we are fortunate to have Carrie Ishmael as our prevention counselor from Carroll Institute. Attached is information about Carrie.


Congratulations to our top 3 Savvy Scientist groups. They were honored this morning during 6th grade award recognition.

5th grade students did a fantastic job presenting their science fair projects to family and friends.





Students in 6th grade learned how to tie a tie as part of their teaching someone a skill.



Students in Mr. Hale’s 6th grade math class created a mini golf hole. They were to create a model to scale and determine area and perimeter before testing them out. Students then calculated what par was after classmates played the hole.




Students in 6th grade self-taught a skill to another student this week. Students are learning about themselves and others through the Sanford Harmony program in Health.



On Wednesday, March 9th, Officer Roman from the LPD came to Mr. DeWitt's 5th grade Health classes and talked about his job and the effects of using drugs and alcohol. Thank you Officer Roman!


Students learned how to play Pickleball today in PE. Looks like they had a blast!



Mrs. Havrevold's 6th grade science classes researched, created, and presented on nonrenewable and renewable energy sources. They presented pros and cons on their assigned energy source. Attached is a picture of students presenting on hydropower.


Students at LWC Intermediate spent an hour this afternoon meeting in leveled groups focused on getting better at math and reading. We will continue with this process for the remainder of the school year.

Our annual dodgeball tournament at the Intermediate was held today. Congratulations to Mrs. Adney’s home room for winning it all. However, the teachers did dominate you in the end.
